How to Use the Banner Block on UniLink

By UniLink Jun 26, 2026 3 min read

The Banner block is a UniLink block that allows you to display a full-width visual banner with a title, description, and optional call-to-action to create a strong visual impact on your page.

What is the Banner Block?

The Banner block acts like a hero section within your UniLink page. It occupies the full width of the content area and typically combines a background image or color with overlaid text and a button. Use it to promote a product launch, seasonal sale, upcoming event, or any offer that deserves prominent visual treatment. It is especially effective for brands and businesses that want a polished, marketing-ready look on their link-in-bio page.

How to Add the Banner Block to Your Page

  1. Log in to your UniLink Dashboard at unilink.us
  2. Select the page you want to edit
  3. Click the Add Block button (+)
  4. Search for or scroll to find Banner
  5. Click to add it to your page

How to Configure the Banner Block

The Banner block offers rich visual customization to match your brand:

  • Background Image — Upload a high-quality image that serves as the banner background. Choose an image that relates to your offer or brand identity.
  • Background Color or Overlay — Add a solid color background or a semi-transparent overlay on top of your image to ensure text remains readable.
  • Banner Title — Write a bold, attention-grabbing headline that communicates your main message in a few words.
  • Subtitle or Description — Add supporting text below the title to provide additional context about the offer or event being promoted.
  • Call-to-Action Button — Include a button with a label and URL to direct visitors toward a specific action, such as "Shop the Sale" or "Register Now."
  • Text Alignment and Positioning — Center, left-align, or right-align the text overlay to achieve the visual composition you want.

Best Practices for the Banner Block

  • Use high-resolution images that are at least 1200 pixels wide to avoid blurry or pixelated banners on large screens.
  • Apply a dark overlay to light images or a light overlay to dark images so your text always remains legible.
  • Keep the banner headline to five to seven words maximum. Brevity creates more impact at a glance.
  • Change your banner image to reflect current campaigns, seasons, or product launches to keep your page feeling fresh and relevant.
  • Always preview the banner on mobile view. The most important text and button should be fully visible without scrolling on a small screen.
