The FAQ block is a UniLink block that allows you to display a list of frequently asked questions and their answers in an expandable, accordion-style format on your page.
What is the FAQ Block?
The FAQ block helps you answer your audience's most common questions without cluttering your page. Each question expands to reveal the answer when a visitor clicks on it, keeping the page clean and easy to navigate. It is ideal for coaches, service providers, e-commerce sellers, and anyone who regularly receives the same questions from their audience or customers.
How to Add the FAQ Block to Your Page
- Log in to your UniLink Dashboard at unilink.us
- Select the page you want to edit
- Click the Add Block button (+)
- Search for or scroll to find FAQ
- Click to add it to your page
How to Configure the FAQ Block
The FAQ block is straightforward to set up and fully editable:
- Section Heading — Add a title like "Frequently Asked Questions" or "Common Questions" to introduce the block.
- Question Text — Enter the question exactly as your audience typically asks it. Clear, natural language works best.
- Answer Text — Write a concise, helpful answer for each question. You can include links within answers to direct visitors to more detailed resources.
- Add Multiple Questions — Add as many question-answer pairs as you need. There is no hard limit, but keep the list focused on genuinely common questions.
- Reorder Questions — Drag and drop questions to arrange them in the order that makes the most sense for your audience.
- Expand/Collapse Behavior — Questions are collapsed by default, but you can optionally set one to be open when the page loads.
Best Practices for the FAQ Block
- Start with the 5 to 8 questions you hear most often from your audience, customers, or followers.
- Write answers in plain language as if you are speaking directly to the person asking. Avoid jargon.
- Keep each answer concise. If an answer requires multiple paragraphs, consider linking to a dedicated page for that topic.
- Update your FAQ regularly as new questions come in, especially after launching a new product or service.
- Place the FAQ block toward the bottom of the page, after you have already presented your offer, so it addresses lingering doubts before visitors leave.
