How to Use the Gallery Block on UniLink

By UniLink Jun 26, 2026 3 min read

The Gallery block is a UniLink block that allows you to display a grid of images directly on your page, giving visitors a visual overview of your work, products, or portfolio.

What is the Gallery Block?

The Gallery block transforms your UniLink page into a visual portfolio or lookbook. Unlike the Slider block, which shows one image at a time, the Gallery block displays multiple images in a grid format so visitors can see everything at once. It is ideal for photographers, designers, artists, fashion brands, restaurants, and anyone whose work is best communicated visually. A well-curated gallery immediately establishes credibility and sparks interest from new visitors.

How to Add the Gallery Block to Your Page

  1. Log in to your UniLink Dashboard at unilink.us
  2. Select the page you want to edit
  3. Click the Add Block button (+)
  4. Search for or scroll to find Gallery
  5. Click to add it to your page

How to Configure the Gallery Block

The Gallery block gives you control over how your images are arranged and displayed:

  • Upload Images — Add as many images as you want to include in your gallery. You can upload photos, product shots, artwork, or any visuals relevant to your brand.
  • Section Heading — Add an optional title above the gallery such as "My Work," "Latest Collection," or "Recent Projects."
  • Grid Columns — Choose how many columns to use in the grid layout. Two or three columns work well on mobile, while three or four can look great on wider screens.
  • Image Spacing — Adjust the gap between images to create a tight mosaic look or a more airy, spacious layout.
  • Clickable Images — Make gallery images clickable so visitors can tap on an image to view it in full size or navigate to a linked URL.
  • Caption Text — Add optional captions to individual images to provide titles, descriptions, or context for each photo.

Best Practices for the Gallery Block

  • Use high-quality images with consistent lighting, composition, and color treatment to create a cohesive, professional gallery.
  • Stick to a consistent aspect ratio for all gallery images, such as square or portrait, to keep the grid visually uniform.
  • Curate your gallery to show only your best work. Ten strong images make a better impression than thirty average ones.
  • Compress images before uploading to reduce load times. Large unoptimized images can significantly slow down your page.
  • Update the gallery regularly with fresh content to give returning visitors a reason to stay engaged with your page.
