The Header block is a UniLink block that allows you to display your brand name, logo, and a short tagline at the top of your page.
What is the Header Block?
The Header block is the first thing visitors see when they land on your UniLink page. It typically contains your name or brand, a profile image or logo, and a brief bio or tagline. Whether you are a creator, business owner, or freelancer, the Header block sets the tone for your entire page and helps visitors immediately understand who you are.
How to Add the Header Block to Your Page
- Log in to your UniLink Dashboard at unilink.us
- Select the page you want to edit
- Click the Add Block button (+)
- Search for or scroll to find Header
- Click to add it to your page
How to Configure the Header Block
Once added, you can customize the Header block to reflect your brand identity. The following settings are available:
- Name or Brand Title — Enter your full name, business name, or username to display as the main heading.
- Profile Image or Logo — Upload a photo or logo that represents you or your brand. Square images work best.
- Tagline or Bio — Add a short description (1-2 sentences) explaining what you do or what visitors can expect on your page.
- Background Style — Choose a background color or image to make your header visually distinct.
- Text Alignment — Align your header content to the left, center, or right depending on your design preference.
- Social Icons — Optionally link your social media profiles directly in the header for quick access.
Best Practices for the Header Block
- Use a high-quality, well-lit photo or a clean logo to build trust with visitors right away.
- Keep your tagline concise and benefit-focused — tell visitors what you offer in under 10 words.
- Make sure the header background color contrasts well with your text for easy readability.
- Update your profile image regularly if your brand evolves — first impressions matter.
- If you run multiple pages on UniLink, use distinct header styles for each to keep them recognizable.
