How to Use the Service Block on UniLink

By UniLink Jun 26, 2026 2 min read

The Service block is a UniLink block that lets freelancers, agencies, and service providers display their offerings with descriptions and booking or inquiry links in a clean, professional format.

What is the Service Block?

The Service block is designed for anyone who sells their time, expertise, or professional services. Freelancers, consultants, photographers, designers, coaches, and agencies can use it to present individual services with a name, short description, price range, and a direct link for booking or getting in touch. Having your services listed clearly on your UniLink page removes the need for visitors to navigate to a separate website just to understand what you offer and how to hire you.

How to Add the Service Block

  1. Log in to your UniLink Dashboard
  2. Open your page editor
  3. Click Add Block (+)
  4. Select Service

Configuration Options

  • Service Name - Enter a clear, descriptive name for the service, such as "Brand Identity Design" or "60-Min Coaching Call".
  • Service Description - Write a brief explanation of what is included in the service and who it is for.
  • Price or Rate - Display a starting price, hourly rate, or fixed project price so visitors can self-qualify before contacting you.
  • Service Icon or Image - Optionally add a relevant icon or photo to make each service visually distinct.
  • Booking or Inquiry Link - Add a button linking to your booking page, contact form, or calendar tool.
  • Button Label - Customize the CTA text, for example "Book a Call", "Get a Quote", or "Learn More".

Best Practices

  • List your most popular or highest-value service first to capture attention before visitors lose interest scrolling.
  • Be specific in your service descriptions, as vague labels like "Consulting" are less compelling than "90-Min Strategy Session for E-Commerce Brands".
  • Display pricing even if approximate, as a "Starting at" rate sets expectations and filters out inquiries that are not a fit.
  • Link to a booking tool like Calendly or TidyCal so visitors can schedule immediately without waiting for a reply.
