How to Use the Text Block on UniLink

By UniLink Jun 26, 2026 2 min read

The Text block is a UniLink block that allows you to add formatted text content — such as descriptions, announcements, or any written information — directly to your page.

What is the Text Block?

The Text block gives you a flexible space to write anything your audience needs to read. Use it to share your story, describe your services, post an announcement, or provide context between other blocks. It supports basic formatting so your content stays readable and professional, making it ideal for creators, coaches, consultants, and small business owners who want to communicate directly with their visitors.

How to Add the Text Block to Your Page

  1. Log in to your UniLink Dashboard at unilink.us
  2. Select the page you want to edit
  3. Click the Add Block button (+)
  4. Search for or scroll to find Text
  5. Click to add it to your page

How to Configure the Text Block

After adding the Text block, you can customize it with the following options:

  • Text Content — Type or paste your message directly into the editor. You can write anything from a short paragraph to a multi-section description.
  • Heading — Optionally add a heading above your text to introduce the section or grab attention.
  • Text Formatting — Use bold, italic, or underline to emphasize key words or phrases within your content.
  • Text Alignment — Align your text left, center, or right based on how it looks within your overall page design.
  • Font Size — Adjust the text size to match the importance of the content — larger for key messages, smaller for supporting details.
  • Link Insertion — Hyperlink specific words or phrases to direct readers to relevant URLs without adding a separate Link block.

Best Practices for the Text Block

  • Keep paragraphs short — 2 to 4 sentences each — so visitors can scan your content easily on mobile devices.
  • Use the heading option to break up long text into named sections, improving readability.
  • Bold key phrases or calls-to-action so they stand out for visitors who skim the page.
  • Avoid writing walls of text; pair the Text block with images or link blocks to keep the page visually balanced.
  • Review your text on mobile preview before publishing — most of your visitors are on smartphones.
