How to Use the Twitter/X Block on UniLink

By UniLink Jun 26, 2026 2 min read

The Twitter/X block is a UniLink block that allows you to embed tweets or your Twitter/X feed directly on your page to keep visitors engaged with your real-time content.

What is the Twitter/X Block?

The Twitter/X block lets you showcase individual posts or your latest activity from Twitter/X without requiring visitors to leave your UniLink page. It is a great way to demonstrate social proof, share your latest thoughts, or highlight a viral tweet that has been getting attention. Writers, journalists, thought leaders, developers, and brands that maintain an active presence on Twitter/X will benefit most from adding this block.

How to Add the Twitter/X Block to Your Page

  1. Log in to your UniLink Dashboard
  2. Select the page to edit
  3. Click Add Block (+)
  4. Find and select Twitter/X

How to Configure the Twitter/X Block

  • Tweet URL — Paste the full URL of the specific post you want to embed, for example https://x.com/username/status/XXXX.
  • Username — Enter your Twitter/X handle so a follow button can be generated and visitors can find your full profile.
  • Feed or Single Post — Choose between embedding a single tweet for maximum impact or a live timeline feed to show your ongoing activity.
  • Theme — Select light or dark theme for the embedded tweet to match your overall page design.
  • Follow Button — Enable a Follow on X button to make it easy for visitors to follow you with one click.
  • Title — Add an optional heading such as Latest from X or My Thoughts to frame the block for visitors.

Best Practices

  • Pin a tweet that has received strong engagement — high like or retweet counts signal credibility and encourage new visitors to follow you.
  • If you use Twitter/X for thought leadership in your niche, feature a tweet that summarizes your expertise or a key insight your audience will find valuable.
  • Avoid embedding time-sensitive or highly topical tweets that may feel dated to visitors who discover your page weeks or months later.
