How to Use the YouTube Block on UniLink

By UniLink Jun 26, 2026 2 min read

The YouTube block is a UniLink block that allows you to embed YouTube videos directly on your page so visitors can watch your content without navigating away.

What is the YouTube Block?

The YouTube block lets you feature individual videos or your latest uploads right on your UniLink page. Whether you want to highlight a tutorial, a product demo, a vlog, or your channel trailer, this block puts your video content front and center for every visitor. It is ideal for YouTubers, educators, brands, and anyone who uses long-form or short-form video as a primary content format and wants to drive views and subscribers from a single link.

How to Add the YouTube Block to Your Page

  1. Log in to your UniLink Dashboard
  2. Select the page to edit
  3. Click Add Block (+)
  4. Find and select YouTube

How to Configure the YouTube Block

  • YouTube Video URL — Paste the full URL of the YouTube video you want to embed, for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXXX.
  • Title — Add a descriptive title above the video to help visitors understand what it covers before they press play.
  • Description — Write a short summary of the video content to entice visitors to watch.
  • Autoplay — Optionally enable autoplay so the video begins playing as soon as a visitor lands on your page, though use this sparingly as it can feel intrusive.
  • Subscribe Button — Display a Subscribe to my YouTube channel call-to-action beneath the video to grow your subscriber count.
  • Video Size — Choose between compact and full-width display to best match your page layout.

Best Practices

  • Pin your channel trailer or most-viewed video as the featured embed — it is the best representation of your content for first-time visitors.
  • Change the featured video when you publish a new piece of content that deserves extra promotion and watch time.
  • Include a clear subscribe call-to-action in both the block description and in the video itself to maximize subscriber conversions from your UniLink traffic.
